Memorial Day: Township Offices Closed
Monday, May 29, 2023
Livingston Town Hall and all Township offices will be closed on Monday, May 29, 2023 in honor of Memorial Day. All offices will reopen during regular business hours on Tuesday, May 30.
The Memorial Day Ceremony begins at 9:30 am at Memorial Oval across from Town Hall. This is followed by the annual Memorial Day Parade at 10 am. The Township continues to remember and honor those who have died while serving in the military and their loved ones.
No Garbage or Recycling Collection
There will be no garbage or recycling collection on Memorial Day, Monday, May 29.
Garbage
If your normal garbage collection day is Monday, your garbage will be picked up on your next regularly scheduled day: Thursday, June 1.
Recycling
Recycling will not be collected on Monday, May 29, and collection will move one day later for the rest of the week. Therefore, Monday’s recycling will instead be picked up on Tuesday, 5/30; Tuesday’s recycling moves to Wednesday, 5/31; Wednesday’s recycling moves to Thursday, 6/1; Thursday’s recycling moves to Friday, 6/2; and Friday’s recycling will instead be picked up on Saturday, 6/3.
