Essex Co. Thanksgiving Emergency Food Distribution Event

The Coronavirus has forced an enormous amount of people out of work and created food insecurity among residents who now have limited income or no income at all. Essex County will hold this Emergency Food Distribution Event to help residents through these uncertain times. 1,500 turkeys and holiday dinner boxes will be distributed. Rain or shine.
- Use the western entrance across from the BP gas station.
- Cars should line up along Cherry Lane before turning right onto Northfield Avenue.
- No Left Turns allowed into the parking lot from Northfield Avenue.
- No arrivals before 8 a.m.
- Drivers must keep their windows rolled up and open their trunk.
- Buses and walk-ups cannot be served.
- 1,500 boxes to be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
