Bids

Various bids are accepted and opened through the Clerk’s office. Specifications are not always issued from the Clerk’s office, but we can direct you to the correct person. For information, call 973-992-5000, ext. #5400. View any bids that are currently available.

Budget Information

Contracts, ordinances, resolutions, minutes, and budgets are all kept on file for public inspection in the Clerk’s Office. Please call 973-992-5000, ext. #5400 for more information.

Park & Ride / Shuttle Service

Free parking is available in the Southwest area of the parking lot at the Livingston Mall for anyone interested in taking NJ Transit from the bus stop there. Free parking is also available in the Southeast corner of the Mall parking lot (Lot number 18, near the Walnut Street entrance) for anyone interested in taking the Express Shuttle from there to the South Orange Train Station. Essex County Outreach

The Essex County Clerk comes to the  Livingston Municipal Building once each month, usually the fourth Wednesday of the month and the Livingston Library usually the fourth Saturday of the month.  When here, the Essex County Clerk’s office processes passport applications and administers the official oath for any individual who meets the criteria and wants to become a Notary Public. Please note: visit days can be subject to change at times. All services are by appointment only.
