Announcements by Date

  • December 20, 2021: The Township Council meeting scheduled for December 20, 2021 was canceled due to public health and safety concerns associated with the recent significant increase in COVID-19 cases. Read the press release (PDF).
  • August 21, 2020: Due to significant public concern arising from recently posted COVID case counts, the Township of Livingston has provided information to explain and clarify the sources of reported cases. Read the press release (PDF).
  • July 15, 2020: Livingston Township buildings will reopen to the public on Monday, July 20, 2020 with safety measures and regulations in place. Read more here.
  • May 19, 2020: The Township of Livingston released updated COVID-19 information on local cases and on Long-Term Care Facilities in the Township. Read the press release (PDF).
  • May 15, 2020: Livingston’s municipal tennis and pickleball courts will reopen on May 16, 2020 with new COVID-19 rules in effect. If these safety and social distancing rules are not followed, the Township may close the courts again in order to prevent potential spread of the virus. Read the rules here (PDF).
  • May 8, 2020: Township offices and facilities remain closed until further notice.
  • May 6: 2020: The Township of Livingston released updated COVID-19 information on local cases and on Long-Term Care Facilities in the Township. Read the press release (PDF).
  • April 21, 2020: The Township provided information on COVID-19 cases and deaths in Livingston as of April 20. Read the press release (PDF).
  • April 17, 2020: The closure of Livingston Township offices and facilities to the public was extended to Monday, May 4, 2020, subject to further extension as circumstances dictate.   • April 3, 2020: The closure of Livingston Township offices and facilities to the public was extended to Monday, April 20, 2020, subject to further extension as circumstances dictate. Read the updated announcement (PDF).
  • March 27, 2020: The closure of Livingston Township offices and facilities to the public was extended to Monday, April 6, 2020. Read the updated announcement (PDF).
  • March 19, 2020: Livingston Township declared a local State of Emergency. Read the Official Proclamation (PDF).
