Covid-19 Information for Livingston Residents
Get the Vaccine
- Children ages 6 months to 5 years can now be safely vaccinated against Covid.
- Individuals ages 5+ should get the Covid vaccine.
- Individuals ages 12+ should get the booster as soon as they're eligible.
The Moderna, Pfizer, and J&J vaccines are all approved for use in those ages 18 and over, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Senior Citizens
The Township of Livingston is offering transportation (in collaboration with Essex County) and resources (with help from volunteers) for local senior citizens in need of assistance.
Small Businesses: Emergency Loans & Grants
The Chamber of Commerce created a guide to help small businesses, independent contractors, and gig economy workers prepare to file for a coronavirus relief loan. Additional State/Federal resources available. Plus: Livingston Community Partnership announced the Township Council’s LuvLiv Local Grant, which will provide qualified businesses with up to $1,500 to cover expenses that will be required for them to re-open their business.

Township Buildings are Open to the Public
Safety measures and regulations are in place as of the reopening of Township buildings to the public on July 20, 2020. Please review this information before visiting, as circumstances are subject to change based on required Covid protocols that may be in place. Township Council Virtual Meetings
The Livingston Township Council has been meeting virtually in accordance with state and national recommendations and orders to suspend large gatherings. Watch the meetings LIVE on Mondays, typically twice per month, at 7 pm on the Livingston Township, NJ Facebook page, or find recorded meeting videos on our website here.
