Mental Health during COVID-19
The outbreak of COVID-19 has been universally stressful. The longer-term nature of the outbreak has meant significant changes to long-held routines and behaviors. It’s important to take care of yourself and find ways to reduce your stress level and support your mental health — and to help your family do the same.
NJ’s Road to Recovery
Governor Phil Murphy announced “The Road Back: Restoring Economic Health through Public Health” to start the State’s recovery. Six principles & key metrics (PDF) were issued to guide the process for lifting restrictions and restoring NJ’s economic health.
Property Tax Grace Period Extended
The Livingston Township Council voted to take advantage of Governor Murphy’s Executive Order 130, which allows the municipality to extend the Second Quarter Property Tax Payment Grace Period to June 1st, rather than May 11th. The Council also voted to lower the interest rate on 2nd quarter delinquent taxes to 6%.
Reopening Guidelines & Policies
As New Jersey begins to lift COVID-19 restrictions, businesses will be looking to reopen their establishments and return to normal operations. Find guidelines, policies, and information related to safely reopening.
Small Businesses: Emergency Loans & Grants
The Chamber of Commerce created a guide to help small businesses, independent contractors, and gig economy workers prepare to file for a coronavirus relief loan. Additional State/Federal resources available. Plus: Livingston Community Partnership announced the Township Council’s LuvLiv Local Grant, which will provide qualified businesses with up to $1,500 to cover expenses that will be required for them to re-open their business.
