LYCS Leaders

Livingston Youth & Community Services (LYCS) is a community-based after-school program that teaches leadership, healthy life choices, and life skills to Grades 1 to 12 in the Livingston school district. LYCS also provides family socials, community service opportunities, expressive arts programs, environmental initiatives, and sponsors community activities.

Registration opens Wednesday, October 25, 2023 for programs beginning January 2024.

Mission & Goals

The mission of LYCS is to reduce the early onset of substance abuse and provide healthy alternative activities for Livingston youth. Our program is designed to:

  • Teach healthy life choices and the dangers of alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs to Livingston's youth.
  • Train Leaders and provide opportunities to practice leadership skills by participating in community service activities and community programs.
  • Provide opportunities for Livingston youth to engage in healthy social interactions.
  • Build stronger healthy families through workshops and programs.
