LYCS Leaders

Livingston Youth & Community Services (LYCS) is a community-based after-school program that teaches leadership, healthy life choices, and life skills to Grades 1 to 12 in the Livingston school district. LYCS also provides family socials, community service opportunities, expressive arts programs, environmental initiatives and sponsors community activities.

Mission & Goals

The mission of LYCS is to reduce the early onset of substance abuse & provide healthy alternative activities for Livingston youth. Our program is design to:

  • Teach healthy life choices and the dangers of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs to Livingston's youth
  • Train Leaders and provide opportunities to practice leadership skills by participating in community service activities and community programs
  • Provide opportunities for Livingston youth to engage in healthy social interactions
  • Build stronger healthy families through workshops and programs
