Primary Election Day
Tuesday, July 7, 2020
Governor Murphy signed Executive Order No. 120, postponing the June 2 primary election to July 7, 2020.
This election is primarily a Vote-By-Mail election.
July 7 Primary Election: Vote By Mail
Per Governor Murphy's Executive Order 144, every registered Republican and Democratic voter was automatically mailed a Vote-By-Mail (VBM) Ballot for the July 7 Primary Election.
Unaffiliated/undeclared voters were mailed an application to request a VBM Ballot.
Livingston will have 2 polling places. These will only provide:
- ADA voting by audio on a voting machine.
- Provisional ballots for any others who show up.
Please note that the Provisional Paper Ballot is similar to a VBM Ballot.
All are urged to use their VBM Ballot. Provisional Ballots are counted last and must be checked against the VBM Ballots that have already been cast before they are accepted and canvassed.
