    The Livingston League of Women Voters will hold a Candidates Debate for the upcoming Livingston Board of Education Election on Wednesday evening, September 25, 8:00 - 10 p.m., in the Livingston Community Center, 204 Hillside Avenue. The 4 candidates are: Seth Cohen, Alyse Heilpern, Sasha Koff, and Samantha Messer. This is a free public meeting, so bring questions and concerns.

  6. Autumn Walking Club

    The Livingston Health Department will be offering a free walking club starting in September around the reservoir at the South Mountain Recreation Complex located in West Orange. The walking club will be on Fridays starting on Sept. 6th until Nov. 15th with no walk on Oct. 4th from 10:00am-11:00am weather permitting. The walking club is free to participate and is open to adults over the age of 18. We will meet in the parking lot at Mcloone’s Boathouse which is a free public parking lot and we will walk 1.75 miles around the reservoir which should take about 1 hour.     The Livingston Police Department is inviting residents to join members of the department for free ice cream, some conversation and some fun at police headquarters, 333 S. Livingston Avenue. On Friday, September 27th, the department will host an Ice Cream with a Cop event from 7:00-8:30 p.m. Citizens of all ages can enjoy a free ice cream from the Good Humor truck, explore a Livingston police car and meet the police officers that patrol their neighborhoods.
