Nancy Cooper has been a volunteer for almost 32 years, working as both a docent for tours and assisting in various exhibits, including selecting and placing jewelry on mannequins wearing vintage clothing at the Morris County Historical Society’s Acorn Hall in Morristown, NJ. Acorn Hall is an 1853 Italianate mansion on Morris Avenue, next to the Westin Hotel.

Livingston resident Nancy Cooper will present a lecture to the Livingston Historical Society's February meeting on the subject of “Mourning Jewelry."
She has had a lifelong interest in history, historic preservation and antiques, with a particular interest in the 19th Century, the Victorian Era, and jewelry, silver and furniture.
The Livingston Historical Society meets on the fourth Monday of the month, September through April, except for December at the Livingston Senior/Community Center. The public is invited to attend the monthly meetings and programs free of charge, but donations are gratefully accepted.
