  1. Autumn Walking Club

    September 20, 2019, 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM

    The Livingston Health Department will be offering a free walking club starting in September around the reservoir at the South Mountain Recreation Complex located in West Orange. The walking club will be on Fridays starting on Sept. 6th until Nov. 15th with no walk on Oct. 4th from 10:00am-11:00am weather permitting. The walking club is free to participate and is open to adults over the age of 18. We will meet in the parking lot at Mcloone’s Boathouse which is a free public parking lot and we will walk 1.75 miles around the reservoir which should take about 1 hour. Pre-registration is required. For questions or to pre-register please contact Jessica, Health Educator at 973-535-7961 ext. 227 or Jekelly@livingstonnj.org.

  2. Deciphering Medicare Part D

    The Livingston Health Department in conjunction with SHIP is offering a free presentation on Medicare. The presentation will be on Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2019 from 1-2pm at the Livingston Senior/Community Center, 204 Hillside Ave in Tahaney Room 1. The presentation will be on Medicare with a focus on Part D prescription coverage and what to consider in regards to your Medicare plan for 2020. Come have your questions answered.     The Livingston Police Department is inviting residents to join members of the department for free ice cream, some conversation and some fun at police headquarters, 333 S. Livingston Avenue. On Friday, September 27th, the department will host an Ice Cream with a Cop event from 7:00-8:30 p.m. Citizens of all ages can enjoy a free ice cream from the Good Humor truck, explore a Livingston police car and meet the police officers that patrol their neighborhoods.
