Open Play Programs

Open Play  Badminton: 

Open to individuals 18 years of age and older, the program meets on Wednesdays at Mt. Pleasant Middle School Gym from 7:30—10 pm beginning in October and ending in May. All open play activities require pre-registration at Senior, Youth and Leisure Services. NO REGISTRATION WILL BE ACCEPTED ON SITE.  

Open Play Basketball

Open to individuals 18 years of age and older, the program meets at Mt. Pleasant Middle School Gym from 7:30—10PM beginning in October and ending in March. Men’s open play meets on Mondays and women’s open play meets on Tuesdays. All open play activities require pre-registration at Senior, Youth and Leisure Services. NO REGISTRATION WILL BE ACCEPTED ON SITE.  .

Open Play Pickle Ball

Pickle ball is one of the fastest growing sports in the country. This upcoming paddle sport combines elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis. Pickle ball is played on a court the size of doubles badminton with a ball that moves at one-third the speed of a tennis ball, similar to a wiffle ball. The net is similar to a tennis net. Pickle ball was invented as a backyard pastime that can be played in doubles or singles and is now an organized sport throughout the world. This program runs April through June. Open Play Co-Ed Table Tennis

Open to individuals 18 years of age and older, the program meets on Tuesdays at Northland Community Center from 7:30—10 pm beginning in October and ending in May. All open play activities require pre-registration at Senior, Youth and Leisure Services. NO REGISTRATION WILL BE ACCEPTED ON SITE.
