Livingston’s Annual July 4th, 2020 Celebration (CANCELED)
Out of an abundance of caution, the Livingston July 4th Committee has decided to cancel the July 4, 2020 celebration. We hope all will stay safe, well, and socially distant to help Flatten the Curve and Slow the Spread of COVID-19.
We look forward to celebrating Livingston’s 84th Annual July 4th Celebration -- including our 27th annual car show -- in 2021!
All events are held on or near Memorial Oval on Robert Harp Drive in Livingston, NJ.
Family fun begins at 9 am with a Classic Car Show & Kiwanis Swim Karnival.
All-day family and kids’ activities, including Powerhouse Studios Twisted Sports, ice cream eating contest, bouncy rides and games, and free pony rides.
From 3:30 pm to 7 pm, a Beer & Wine Café features 3 live bands (must be 21 with ID to purchase).
Main stage entertainment begins at 7:30 pm.
Livingston’s Famous Fireworks begin at 9:15 pm.
All are invited to bring a lawn chair or spread out a blanket and watch the show.
Restrooms & Parking
Accessible restrooms are typically available in Livingston High School during daytime event, and at the Public Library from 5:00 - 9:45 pm.
General parking is typically available in the St. Philomena’s Church lot; handicapped parking will be available in the Library parking lot (enter from S. Livingston Avenue).
In Case of Inclement Weather
Daytime activities will be held in the Livingston High School Cafeteria.
Afternoon & evening performances will go on as scheduled at the covered stage on the Oval.
Fireworks: decision will be made by 2 pm on July 4; rain date is generally July 5, 9:15 pm.
